Bob Lentz

Bob served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Cyber, Identity and Information Assurance in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense, Networks and Information Integration/Chief Information Officer. In addition, Mr Lentz previously served as the first Chief Information Security Officer for the Department of Defense and in this capacity, oversaw the department’s $3 billion Information Assurance & Cybersecurity programs. He started his career with the NSA in 1975 and has since accumulated 34 years of industry experience. Mr Lentz is on the Board at multiple cybersecurity companies, has spoken at the RSA conference and cybersecurity conferences throughout the world.
